Drawing heritage from the beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters of one of Western Australia’s most renowned coastal environments, the Esperance RTT expands ARB’s rooftop tent family. ARB’s first ever hardshell tent, the Esperance is a super lightweight, slimline and contemporary looking hardshell rooftop tent.
With convenience-centric design in mind, the Esperance is quick and effortless both to set up and to pack down. With features such as an internal telescopic ladder, gas strut assisted opening, and only three push-lock ratchet straps, travelling with the Esperance is a breeze.
Comfortable Interior
The Esperance has a spacious interior with a high-density sponge mattress that comfortably sleeps two adults and one child. Two large side windows and an integrated vent maximise airflow. An internal light and USB charging port complete the interior.
Simple Setup
ARB’s Esperance rooftop tent can be opened and packed away in minutes. No poles to connect or secure in the ground like a ground tent – just unfold, and you’re done. More time exploring, less time setting up camp.

Can you store bedding inside when travelling?
This shouldn't be a problem but just remember when the lid is closed on the Esperance it needs to be closed tight to ensure no water is going to get in.
When the tent is open sideways on the roof rack it gets wider 2100mm, but remains the same length 1520mm. Am I correct in my thinking?
The length of the tent never changes, but goes wider as it opens out as the base opens up.
Can the tent be safely used mounted both ways round, i.e. so it folds out to either the right or the left of the vehicle?
This can only be mounted with the opening on the RHS of the vehicle. This cannot be changed due to specific mounting points.
Can you fit this with a 270 awning on the left-hand side?
This should fit with a 270 Awning. The shell doesn't protrude any more when it's open so shouldn't affect the awning.
Does this include the annexe?

Can you mount roof bars on top of the hard-shell?
This isn't possible or something we would recommend unfortunately.
